Antonivka is a village (523 residents) in Stavyshche Region located on a steep left bank of Hnyly Tikych River. On a knoll at the edge of the village, there are remnants of the site of ancient Kyiv Rus settlement (10-12 c). Antonivka was founded in the early 18th c. The wooden Church of the Nativity of Virgin Mary (1777) is preserved in the central part of the village. It is a sample of traditional Ukrainian wooden architecture, typical of Right-Bank Ukraine. In the church, there are small fragments of preserved old wall painting.
