Kozanka (2,400 residents) is a village in Fastiv Region stretching for 3km along the banks of Kamyanka River. The village was founded in the 14th c, when the Duchy of Lithuania took these lands. In the eastern part of Kozhanka there is a wooden Church of the Patronage built in 1759. This simple church on a knoll is surrounded by old trees, which creates the sense of spiritual comfort. |
