Turchynivka Village (579 residents). Chudniv region, is located near the source of a brook flowing into the Pyatok Rivulet. Turchynivka is a comparatively young village founded in the 18th c. There are relics of a typical manor from the times of Russian Empire. As befitted the landowner, the laird laid a park and a pond in the first half of the 19th c. There are still 160-170-year-old trees of local breeds around. The palace and economic building were built in the second half of the 19th c. on the site of old farmstead. According the soviet tradition they were readjusted to house the agricultural technical school. |
