Rating of the ‘Focus’ weekly ‘100 most influential Ukrainian women’ — is the first effort to estimate the real influence of the female population of Ukraine on the political processes in the country. It was the first time when the experts had to determine the level of women’s impact on the political, economical, social and cultural spheres of life.
The questionnaires were filled by men only, with famous and influential representatives of the ‘strong sex’ to be among them. It turned out that all significant women whose opinion is really important were included into the primary list of the rating participants. According to the polling results, influential Ukrainian women should possess such qualities, as: closeness to the state decision making, influence in business, impact on the social opinion, personal celebrity and kinship. Thus, such an approach enabled the specialists to find out ‘underneath springs’ in the images of well-known Ukrainian ladies.
Sometimes the experts gave rather sudden estimations, however, the leaders trio states the fact that influence in Ukraine is predominantly linked to a political status and the post that activates main levers of impact. Estimating personal popularity of the participants, they carried out an extra-analysis of their mention and citing frequency in the popular Google and Yandex search systems. Under the results of this research the experts built up the rating of 10 mostly cited Ukrainian women among 100 women. It’s curious that this ten does not coincide with the results of the rating itself.

They are positive that without strong women the society infrastructure and order will definitely collapse and they are proving to the whole world that the phrase ‘week part of the humankind’ can not be applicable to Ukrainian women because they are the best from the best.
